97 Neglected sled dogs rescued in Quebec, the SPCA Laurentides-Labelle needs donations to help with the care and re-homing of these dogs!

On November 17, the SPCA LL and their partner, Humane Society International, rescued 97 neglected sled dogs in the Upper Laurentians. The owner of the dogs was unable to care properly for his animals and released them to the care of the SPCA LL.

Police Service Dogs Have Proven To Be An Important Tool For Law Enforcement Officers

Once a day on average, an Oklahoma Highway Patrol drug dog walks around a vehicle that has been stopped for a traffic violation. Sometimes the dog has been deployed because the driver declined a request by the trooper to search the vehicle for drugs. Other times the trooper, in the interest of time, will deploy the dog without asking the driver.
