TRACKING WITH KIM COOPER

Kim has certified herself and her canine partners to Royal Canadian Mounted Police requirements and, in 2004, was one of the first handlers to pass OPP certification testing. In 2006, when her German Shepherd Chaos passed the testing, she became the only handler to date to have certified two dogs under the OPP. Only 10 dogs have ever passed this certification testing – Kim is proud to have coached 7 of those teams. Kim has also certified a Disaster Dog under the US Federal Emergency Management Agency (one of only 2 Canadian dogs to ever pass that test) and a Cadaver Dog under the International Police Work Dog Association requirements.
